In 1941 Brights was awarded the O.BA. senior crown for the second straight year. With six new players on the roster the squad proved to be strong on the mound, stingy on defmse and powerful offensively. Defeating the Niagara Home Furnishers in three games, Brights took the city championship series and the Goddard Cup for the third consecutive year, clinching the title with a 12-1 win in the third game. The squad continued its domination of the Niagara District senior circuit, earning playoff honours for the fourth year in a row, defeating the Hamilton Moodie Tigers and the St. Catharines Transports. During the final District series Brights pitcher Senese racked up his 26th win, giving him an undefeated record over two seasons of league and playoff action. For his sterling efforts on the mound Senese was honoured with the league's most valuable player award. The O.BA. title was decided by a round robin series with Brights meeting opposition from St. Catharines, Windsor and Waterloo. Brights won five of six games and its second O.B.A. senior title, losing only to the St. Catharines crew. To retain the provincial crown the winery brigade shut out Windsor twice and defeated Waterloo twice, the final game in the series being a thrilling 2-1 ten inning victory over Waterloo at Oakes Stadium.
