Full size image of plaque The world of road race cycling may be glamourous to the spectator but the road to get to the top is long and arduous. Tim Lefebvre spent many long and lonely hours in the saddle perfecting his trade. The hard work paid off. Tim's versatility as a cyclist won him many Ontario titles on the Velodrome, City Centre Criteriums and 180 k Road Race events. In 1988, Tim was voted Ontario Sportsman of the Year. These achievements were the stepping stones to even greater success from 1988-1992 when he represented Canada and competed in the Pan Am Games, World Championships and International Stage Races. From 1988- 1992, Tim dominated National Criterium racing in Canada by winning two golds and one silver. Since his retirement, Tim has donated countless hours back to his sport, as a coach and Physical Therapist to young cyclists. |
