Peter Mancuso grew up at the baseball fields in Niagara Falls. His personal career consisted of many accomplishments. He played Senior "A" Hardball for the Niagara Falls Fords Champions in 1953. Peter took his talents to the Borden's Dairy Industrial Fastball League and played on the Daw's Sheet Metal Team that won the All Ontario Intermediate "A" Championship in 1961.

Most of Peter's baseball accomplishments came while coaching or managing. He was associated with many T-Ball to Senior Teams, over a forty year period. In 1996, the G.N.B.A. honoured Peter with a lifetime membership, for his dedication to their organization.

Baseball only kept Peter busy for the summer months. He spent many winters with the Stamford and Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Associations as a coach. He enjoyed teaching young boys the skills which he learned while playing the sport himself.

Peter has been involved with hockey in Niagara Falls, for the better part of thirty years. He is an active executive member of the Niagara Falls Junior "B" Canucks and a life member of the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association. His contribution to sport has made and continues to make a growing difference to the youth in our city.
